Description	Cyclins are important in regulating the cell cycle through their formation of enzymatic complexes with various cyclin-dependent kinases. P19(INK4d) also kowns as cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 2D, is one of the novel members of the mouse INK4 gene family. Okuda et al.(1995) described the cloning of the human INK4d gene(CDKN2D). The predicted 166-amino acid protein is 86% identical to the mouse protein and about 45% identical to other human INK4 family members.
